We're proud to release this special sweater honouring a long-lost but not forgotten vinyl store that was once a mecca in downtown Johannesburg in the late 70s and 80s.
After discovering some old Hillbrow Record Centre packets holding together a dusty collection of vinyls posted online, an adventure then ensued to learn more and track down the owners of the long-since closed iconic record centre. It was important to us that we got their blessing to make this shirt. Needless to say the blessing was given, and this is the design as it appeared on the packet.
